ABOUT US

WHO IS EVERY NATION WORCESTER?

Every Nation Worcester is part of a worldwide family of churches and ministries that exist to honour God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.

Our Vision

We see a transformed community filled with disciples of Christ.

Our Mission

Honour God. Make disciples.

Honour God

Honouring God is the ultimate goal of our ministry. His glory is the starting point of all that we do.

Revelation 4:11 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.

Make Disciples

Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Our Strategy

We intentionally engage the culture and community through a conversation or activity, to build relationships with unbelievers to ultimately share the message of the Gospel with them.

We establish people in Christ through deliberately and systematically laying biblical foundations in all believers.
We aim to establish believers in –
  • Truth – Personal Word-based convictions through discipleship.
  • Freedom – Personal spiritual victory (Victory weekend).
  • Relationships – Natural and spiritual family.
We aim to deliberately equip every believer with the understanding and heart to be able to minister.
We equip believers to –
  1. Follow Jesus,
  2. Fellowship with believers, and
  3. Fish for men.
We believe in empowering people by giving them the necessary tools, skills and practical training so that they can be confident in making and multiplying disciples.
We empower believers to –
  1. Engage – Culture and community.
  2. Establish – Biblical foundations.
  3. Equip – Believers for ministry.
  4. Empower – Disciples to make disciples.

Our Core Values

Our core values describe who we are and how we build. Whether we are building a discipleship group, a music group, or plant a new church, these core values are the essential foundation on which we make all decisions.

We value Christ in us

Because Jesus is “King of kings and Lord of lords,” we believe in wholehearted submission (Sub means to align under and mission means to His Mission).

To submit means to align our lives and priorities under His mission. God’s will and His Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth. Absolute obedience is essential to being a true disciple.

Colossians 2:6So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him.”

We value people

Because God’s heart is to reach the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism – not transfer, through birth – not adoption.

John 3:16For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

We believe that every born-again believer is called to be a fisher of men.

Luke 19:10For the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.”

We value maturity in Christ

Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is ministering to people, not conducting meetings, administering programs, or building buildings.

Matthew 28: 19-20Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We place a high priority not only to see people saved, but to grow them up to become all God wants them to be. We believe that every member is a minister.

We value Godly influence

Because we are called to raise-up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities for young potential leaders to develop their gifts.

2 Timothy 2:2And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

We value natural and lasting relationships

Because the family is the foundational and validation for all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success.

Psalm 127:1,3Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. . . Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children are a reward from him.”

And because we believe God has called us to be spiritual family, we reject the idea of disposable relationships and choose to walk in love, respect and unity.

Ephesians 4:3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Our Statement of Faith

1.

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in their original writing are fully inspired by God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

2.

We believe that in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments, God has revealed Himself and given us an authoritative disclosure of His character and will.

3.

We believe in the sovereignty of the one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

4.

We believe that human beings, though created in the image of God, are sinful and guilty and lost without Christ, and that this truth is a necessary preliminary to the Gospel.

5.

We believe that Jesus Christ, as begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true man.

6.

We believe that Jesus Christ, as God incarnate, is unique and sinless.

7.

We believe that on the cross Jesus Christ became sin for us, was judged by God and died in our place.

8.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus, His ascension into Heaven, and His present ministry as our High Priest and advocate with the Father.

9.

We believe that the Jesus of history and the Christ of Glory are the same Person.

10.

We believe, because of the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that God freely forgives those who are brought to repentance and faith in His Son.

11.

We believe that all who are justified by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

12.

We believe (i) in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, by which believers are empowered and equipped for service, (ii) in the gifts and in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and (iii) in the God-given ministries of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.

13.

We believe in the resurrection both of the just and the unjust, the eternal damnation of those who have rejected God’s offer of salvation in Jesus Christ.

14.

We believe that the one true and universal Church consists of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church should be the expression of the one true universal Church and therefore that the new birth and personal confession of faith in Christ are essentials of Church membership.

15.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed the two sacraments of baptism in water and the Lord’s supper, to be observed as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses to the Christian faith; that baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as confession of identification with Christ in His burial and resurrection, and that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the emblems which symbolise the broken body and shed blood of Christ, in remembrance of His sacrificial death until He comes.

16.

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.
